Abyssal majesty

Primal life out of darkness is a very old idea that managed to keep its ability to inspire and here it goes again...
The central blurry light source extracts the bright elements from the ambient black, creating a sort of shelter and stirring a feeling of safety...
Pale tones and a deep blue dominance create the illusion of transparency (a feature of many deep sea creatures)...
Putting that aside, it must be said that the composition is rather simple: The vertical axis divides the piece in two symmetrical parts and The horizontal one separates the two shapes of which the piece is composed.
